Membership is optional, but it saves you money on every consultation and helps keep the practice viable for everyone. The more members we have, the more sustainable the service becomes. Membership is a recurring direct debit subscription – it’ll renew automatically until you cancel.
Pet Household Membership – £150/year (inc VAT)
For households with cats and dogs (up to 6 animals).
What you get:
- Covers up to 6 cats and/or dogs in your household
- Unlimited phone consultations (non-members pay £30 each)
- £15 off every consultation
- 1 free routine annual health check per pet – for wormer and other repeat prescriptions
- 10% off retail pet supplies
- Text reminders for vaccinations and treatments
Who this suits: Dog and cat owners, multi-pet households, anyone wanting regular preventive care and phone access to veterinary advice.
Crofting & Equine Membership – £250/year (exc VAT)
For active crofters and horse owners.
Everything in Pet Household membership, plus:
- An introductory visit from the vet so they can prescribe for you (doesn’t include treating livestock – that’s billed separately)
- Unlimited phone consultations for all your animals (non-members pay £30 each)
- 10% off all work done on farm/croft
- Members discount on selected farm products
Who this suits: Active crofters with livestock, mixed farming households, horse owners.
What Membership Offers
For you: Better value care and easy access to advice. The unlimited phone consultations alone pay for themselves if you use them even a few times a year. Early intervention through phone triage often prevents more serious (and expensive) problems developing.
For the practice: Stable income that lets us plan coverage, maintain equipment, and invest in the service. It also helps us demonstrate to funders and the government support scheme that the community is behind this.
